Attention, Seniors!

We had our first meeting last Wednesday. The main topics discussed were Senior trip destination ideas, committees and activities. If anyone has any suggestions, ideas or thoughts, please leave a comment or send an e-mail; the sooner we figure things out, the faster we can get started and get them done!

For the Senior trip, a list of four or five final destinations will be given to the administration and we will vote based on what they choose. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to discuss them with any of the class officers or Miss Mason. This is everyone's trip!

Committees. It has been decided by the administration that there will be NO graduation committees this year (ie: Design Committee, etc.) A venue has already been booked and they will decide on designs and layouts. The reason behind this is that they do not want any student input for fear of misunderstandings and disagreements between Seniors. However, committees for the Senior scrapbook and English song for graduation are still available, and more are going to be thought up. Again, if anyone wants to be a part of one, or has any committee ideas, please speak up!

As for Senior activities, what do you want to do? Let us know and we will do our best to make it happen!

The elections are finally over!

Congratulations to our new class representatives:

President: Farah Zamani
Vice President: Saba Al-Fuhaid
Secretary: Noura Khureibat
Treasurer: Lulu Al-Omar

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Farah Zamani! :)

--To all the candidates, Ghalya, Shaikha, Fajer, Alya'a and Sabah:

You all would've made great representatives, every single one of you. That is why the votes were so close and many people couldn't decide who to vote for; you are all wonderful. Remember that this is not the end. Just because you were not elected to class office does not mean you still cannot make a difference! Get out there and voice your opinions, because they still matter and change is possible, it is your year and you have the right to have it your way - we are only here to help.

Please feel free to leave comments, suggestions - or even write an e-mail!

Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

The speeches are going to be held in Ms. Mason's class on the third floor at 12:15. See you there!
